Have got / Has got
We use have got / has got (έχω / έχει) to talk about possession, family, pets, appearance and characteristics.
I have got a bike.She has got a dog.

Have got and has got mean “έχω / έχει”. The form changes with the subject.

Important difference: have got vs have
In British English, have got is very common for possession. In American English, have is also very common.
- I have got a bike. = I have a bike.
- Has she got a dog? = Does she have a dog?
