Verb to be (Το ρήμα είμαι)

The verb to be is one of the most important verbs in English. We use it to say who we are, how we feel, where we are, and what something is like.

1. Present Simple of to be

  • I am ten years old. → Είμαι δέκα χρονών.

In the past, we use was and were.
