Grammar Corner

English: Use -er than for short adjectives and more … than for long adjectives.
Ελληνικά: Χρησιμοποιούμε -er than στα σύντομα επίθετα και more … than στα μεγάλα επίθετα.
English: Use the …-est or the most … to compare one with all the others.
Ελληνικά: Χρησιμοποιούμε the …-est ή the most … για να ξεχωρίσουμε έναν/μία από όλους.
English: Some words change completely: good → better → best, bad → worse → worst.
Ελληνικά: Μερικές λέξεις αλλάζουν εντελώς στον συγκριτικό/υπερθετικό.
English: Use as … as when two things are equal. Use not as/so … as when they are different.
Ελληνικά: as … as όταν δύο πράγματα είναι ίδια σε κάτι. not as/so … as όταν δεν είναι ίδια.
English: Adverbs answer How? Usually add -ly to the adjective.
Ελληνικά: Τα επιρρήματα απαντούν στο Πώς; Συνήθως βάζουμε -ly.
English: Use more … than / the most … for many adverbs, but some are irregular.
Ελληνικά: Στα επιρρήματα συχνά βάζουμε more/the most, αλλά μερικά είναι ανώμαλα.

Project
Draw an imaginary creature. Write its name, age, height, personality, special power and one funny habit.
Compare your creature with a friend’s creature using comparative and superlative adjectives.
Choose a short scene, make masks or simple props, practise your lines and perform for the class.
