Giving personal information

English: Use short clear sentences to talk about yourself.

Ελληνικά: Για να παρουσιάσουμε τον εαυτό μας, χρησιμοποιούμε μικρές καθαρές προτάσεις.

  • My name is Betty.
  • I am ten years old.
  • I am from Greece.
  • I have got a sister.
  • I haven’t got a pet.

have got / has got

English: Use have got with I/you/we/they and has got with he/she/it.

Ελληνικά: Το χρησιμοποιούμε για να πούμε τι έχουμε ή τι έχει κάποιος.

  • I have got a dog.
  • She has got a sister.
  • He hasn’t got a brother.
  • Have you got a pet?

can / can’t

English: Use can for abilities and can’t when we cannot do something.

Ελληνικά: Το can δείχνει τι μπορούμε να κάνουμε.

  • I can swim very well.
  • Sophia can speak three languages.
  • I can’t ride a horse.
  • Can you play volleyball?

Present Simple revision

English: Use Present Simple for habits, likes and facts. Add -s with he/she/it.

Ελληνικά: Το χρησιμοποιούμε για συνήθειες, προτιμήσεις και γενικές πληροφορίες. Στο he/she/it βάζουμε συνήθως -s.

  • I like reading books.
  • Betty likes sports.
  • Nick goes swimming every day.
  • She doesn’t like chocolate.

Story writing

English: A story has a beginning, a middle and an ending. Use simple sentences and time words.

Ελληνικά: Μια ιστορία έχει αρχή, μέση και τέλος. Χρησιμοποιούμε απλές προτάσεις και λέξεις χρόνου.
