Σύγκριση Επιθέτων στα Αγγλικά

Τα adjectives (επίθετα) στα Αγγλικά έχουν τρεις βαθμούς:

• Θετικός βαθμός (positive): tall
• Συγκριτικός βαθμός (comparative): taller
• Υπερθετικός βαθμός (superlative): tallest

✅ Συγκριτικός Βαθμός (Comparative)

Χρησιμοποιείται για σύγκριση ανάμεσα σε δύο πρόσωπα ή πράγματα και συνοδεύεται συνήθως από τη λέξη than.

🔹 Πώς σχηματίζεται:

• Μονοσύλλαβα επίθετα: προσθέτουμε -er

  small → smaller

• Δισύλλαβα σε -y, -ow, -er, -le: επίσης -er
  

  🔹  – y

  ➡️ αλλάζει το y → i + er

  • happy → happier (χαρούμενος)

  • funny → funnier (αστείος)

  • easy → easier (εύκολος)

  • busy → busier (απασχολημένος)

  • pretty → prettier (όμορφος)

  • noisy → noisier (θορυβώδης)

  🔹  -ow

  ➡️ προσθέτουμε -er

  • narrow → narrower (στενός)

  • shallow → shallower (ρηχός)

  • yellow → yellower (κίτρινος)

  • hollow → hollower (κούφιος)

  🔹  -er

  ➡️ προσθέτουμε -er

  • clever → cleverer (έξυπνος)

  • bitter → bitterer (πικρός)

  • tender → tenderer (τρυφερός)

  ---

  🔹  -le

  ➡️ προσθέτουμε -r (όχι -er)

  • simple → simpler (απλός)

  • gentle → gentler (ευγενικός / απαλός)

  • little → littler (μικρός)

  • humble → humbler (ταπεινός)

  • noble → nobler (ευγενής)

• Μεγάλα επίθετα: βάζουμε more μπροστά

  beautiful → more beautiful (όμορφος)

✅ Υπερθετικός Βαθμός (Superlative)

Χρησιμοποιείται για σύγκριση ανάμεσα σε πάνω από δύο πρόσωπα ή πράγματα και παίρνει πάντα το άρθρο the.

🔹 Πώς σχηματίζεται:

• Μονοσύλλαβα: -est

  fast → fastest

• Δισύλλαβα σε -y, -ow, -er, -le: -est

  happy → happiest

• Μεγάλα επίθετα: the most

  beautiful → the most beautiful

This is the best film ever.
