We use these verbs to say how something looks, tastes, smells or feels.
- look (appearance)
- taste (food & drinks)
- smell (odours)
- feel (emotions & touch)
Important: After these verbs we use an adjective (good, delicious, happy…), not an adverb.

I / You / We / They → look, taste, smell, feel
He / She / It → looks, tastes, smells, feels
2) Examples

Unit 5 - Lesson 2
Abilities – Obligations – Advice
Ικανότητες – Υποχρεώσεις – Συμβουλές
Στα Αγγλικά χρησιμοποιούμε κάποια ειδικά ρήματα για να μιλήσουμε για:
- ικανότητες (τι μπορούμε να κάνουμε)
- υποχρεώσεις (τι πρέπει να κάνουμε)
- συμβουλές (τι είναι καλό να κάνουμε)
Αυτά τα ρήματα λέγονται modal verbs και είναι: can, must, should.
🔹 Τα modal verbs:
- ΔΕΝ αλλάζουν μορφή (δεν παίρνουν -s)
- ακολουθούνται πάντα από γυμνό απαρέμφατο (χωρίς to)
A. Abilities – CAN / CAN’T
Χρησιμοποιούμε το can για να πούμε τι μπορούμε ή δεν μπορούμε να κάνουμε στο παρόν ή στο μέλλον.
Κατάφαση: can + verb
Άρνηση: cannot / can’t + verb
Ερώτηση: Can + subject + verb?
